As the Scottish Government continues to progress the development of legislation that will enable the introduction of a Visitor Levy in Scotland, and City of Edinburgh Council further develops their own plans for the implementation of such a scheme, ETAG recognises the importance and potential impact of this on the Edinburgh visitor economy.
To help businesses keep informed and up to date, we have created this dedicated section of our website, which aims to act as a repository for published information in relation to all things Visitor Levy, including all the key pieces of publicly available information in relation to the national and local positions.
We will continue to add to this as more information becomes available, as well as promoting opportunities for industry and stakeholders to engage and contribute to the discussions around the introduction of a Visitor Levy.
