Join us at the inaugural ‘Year of Young People Tourism Conference 2018’. The half day conference, at the Technology & Innovation Centre at Strathclyde Uni, is a fantastic opporuntity for young people from across the tourism sector, to learn, motivate and inspire each other.
We’ve got a half-day agenda packed full of inspiring speakers, an ‘Ask the CEO’ Q&A panel and much more. Delegates will also have the opportunity to attend two of three workshops on the day, covering the themes of Leadership, Mentoring and Social Media. Draft agenda includes:

- 1 pm Keynote speaker
- 1.20 pm ‘Ask the CEO’ session with Marc Crothall (Scottish Tourism Alliance), Sheila Gilmore (VisitArran) and Angela Vickers (Apex Hotels)

- 3.10 pm Break & Networking
- 3.30 pm Workshop II
- 4.40 pm Recap and closing remarks

The Women in Tourism Conference is open to everyone working within the tourism industry, and for those looking to make tracks into the sector. Discounted tickets are available for YOYPs (those aged 30 and under), WIT Members and Non-Members.
