Social listening is the process of data gathering and analysis across multiple social platforms, allowing your business to track, analyse, and respond to conversations about your brand and industry online. This has created new software tools and new business opportunities!
Join us to hear from Dr Jillian Ney, the UK’s first Dr of Social Media and a Digital Behavioural Scientist. Jillian has spent the last decade analysing social data and witnessed more and more businesses trying to benefit from social listening. Jillian will explain what social listening and social intelligence means for your tourism business, as well an overview of the wide range of new tools and technology aiming to solve business insight challenges.
About the Speaker
Dr Jillian Ney is the UK’s first Dr of Social Media and a Digital Behavioural Scientist. She helps businesses to understand what’s driving customer behaviour by applying behavioural science to digital data.
Finding hacks in social tools and digital data is Dr Jillian’s speciality. She firmly believes that there is more to digital data than what the current tools and analytical approaches provide. Dr Jillian has spent her career working to overcome these limitations to add a layer of behavioural science in the analysis and interpretation of digital data – this additional layer of insight consistently provides superior marketing intelligence for her clients.
She has created a global network of social intelligence professionals through her DRJN brand, that continually work to support each other, create best practice and benchmarking in the ever-changing world of social listening.
