This is part of the webinar series run by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and is a great opportunity to gather some learning online. There is a series of webinars taking place from the 20th October – 17th November.

If a picture paints a thousand words then a video must be priceless. Have you considered using video to bring your product to life? Twenty years ago, tourism businesses spent their marketing budget on press releases, newspaper adverts and flyers. Then, video advertising was an expense very few could afford, but how things have changed! These days video can be accessed on mobile phones and tablets in a couple of clicks, and the added value that sight, sound and motion can bring to your marketing is unquestionable.

– 46% of viewers take action after viewing a video online.
– Consumers are 27 times more likely to click on video adverts than static banners.
– By 2017, video will account for 69% of all consumer internet traffic. ‘Video-on-demand’ traffic alone will almost have trebled.
