ETAG Market Readiness Innovation Workshops
We all know the devastating impact Covid-19 has had on the tourism sector here in Edinburgh. The city’s pre-covid ‘business as usual’ market has all but disappeared and now, as we begin the journey of re-opening and building back our businesses we are having to adapt and innovate to meet the evolving needs, demands and expectations of visitors and new markets.
Join us for one of our Innovation Workshops, designed specifically to help you understand more about what is happening in the market place and to provide some dedicated time to consider the opportunities to innovate around your own products, services and practices.
The workshops will:
• Inform you of the latest market insights, customer trends and visitor expectations – guest speakers from Expedia and VisitScotland will be on hand to share their latest research and insights
• Encourage you to think about how you should be adapting your own products, services or practices in light of market changes, changing visitor behaviour and expectations
• Encourage you to explore opportunities for collaboration with partners
• Support you in developing your own innovation action plan
Please note that the same session will run 4 times across the summer and so we would ask that you do not book on to more than one workshop.
These workshops are being delivered as part of ETAG’s wider Tourism Covid Recovery programme and are being funded by Scottish Government via VisitScotland’s Market Readiness Fund.
ETAG events are aimed primarily at tourism businesses within Edinburgh, who operate on a B2C (Business to Consumer) basis. Unfortunately we can’t offer places to intermediaries, consultants or suppliers of services.
