Join us for this workshop which will teach Tourism businesses the basics of marketing for the digital age. Content includes:

  • How and why your Tourism business will benefit from marketing
  • The basic psychology of marketing
  • What is Content Marketing
  • How to master social media successfully
  • Key Social Media platforms used in tourism

Attendees will acquire basic marketing skills, understand the evolution of marketing, specifically digital marketing and the basic principles of emotional engagement that fundamentally drives successful social media engagement.

Your Tutor: Gordon Black is a key member of the Digital Tourism Scotland team and is a director of RGB Agency. With over 20 years in Digital Marketing, Gordon has extensive digital marketing strategy, planning and project management experience. Specialist areas include website development, online advertising and applications development. For the past 7 years Gordon has focused mainly on digital marketing, helping businesses develop their strategy, understand their customers and build successful online brands.
