Drop in Session – Proposed Changes to Randolph Place
- This event has passed.
Members of the public are invited to a drop-in session outlining proposed changes to Randolph Place as part of the City Centre West to East Cycle Link and Street Design project.
The drop-in session will take place on Tuesday 20 February from 1pm-7pm at Harry’s Bar, 7B Randolph Place.
Three different options for the redesign of Randolph Place will be presented at the session and the CCWEL team will be keen take on board people’s feedback on the options. Following the drop-in there will be an online consultation on the council’s Consultation Hub, so that anyone who is unable to make the session in person can still take part in the process.
Councillor Lesley Macinnes, Transport and Environment Convener, said: “We’re really keen to hear from as many people as possible as we shape the detailed designs for this pioneering CCWEL project. Once complete, it’s anticipated to prompt a real step change in how people travel to and through the city centre, with journeys by bike expected to increase dramatically.”
This section of the CCWEL project (Section 2 from Haymarket to Charlotte Square) will be progressing through a statutory consultation later this year as part of the Traffic Regulation Order which will be required to deliver the project.
