We are delighted that for 2019 ETAG is partnering with the Heriot-Watt Scottish Confucious Institute for Business and Communication to deliver an innovative new marketing and PR campaign around Edinburgh’s Chinese New Year.
Now moving into the 3rd year of the Edinburgh China Ready Initiative, the Initiative has already delivered a huge amount of China focused activity in the city, helping businesses become China Ready, establishing one of the world’s leading destination Chinese social media programmes and of course, supporting the establishment of the historic new direct Beijing – Edinburgh direct air route that launched in June!
But there is lots more to do and ETAG is always looking for new opportunities for Edinburgh businesses to benefit from the growing Chinese visitor market and to enhance Edinburgh’s position as the UK’s most “China Friendly” destination.
This new campaign will create a great platform to showcase all the many events that Edinburgh hosts over the Chinese New Year holiday period (2nd February to 17 February) and we’re sure that the Business Briefing will inspire and inform you about how your business can get involved – from creating a warm welcome for your Chinese guests to developing great new Chinese themed products, experiences and promotions that will attract both locals and visitors.
