Canongate Stars & Stories
Led by the City of Literature Trust, Canongate Stars & Stories is a new literary attraction set to shed light on Edinburgh’s outstanding print and publishing heritage on the Royal Mile. Merging history with tourism, the project aims to create an interactive experience for the city’s residents and visitors, bringing them even closer to the stories and people of Edinburgh.
20 light-boxes featuring quotes and phrases drawn from famous books and publishing figures from across the ages. They will be on display in the windows of businesses along the Old Town’s Canongate area from John Knox House to Dynamic Earth, until March 2017.
