Tourism Research Centre at Edinburgh Napier University – engages in research and knowledge exchange activities to drive economic, social and cultural recovery and growth across destinations and communities. The Centre’s research covers aspects of environmental and social impact relating to the tourism, festival and event, and hospitality sectors to develop and support sustainable tourism practices. The goal is to enable stakeholders to maximise the positive impacts and minimise the negative ones, while engaging local communities and positive staff experiences.

VisitScotland – The national tourism organisation for Scotland. VisitScotland works in collaboration with individual businesses, public agencies, local authorities and other tourism stakeholders to support the responsible recovery and growth of the visitor economy. Through its marketing, funding and business support activities, VisitScotland drives domestic and international tourism to ensure that visitors experience the very best of Scotland in a way that maximises the positive benefits of tourism for everyone.

The Place – A four-star city centre hotel, situated in a A-listed Georgian terrace on York Place. The hotel has 48 boutique rooms and suites, each with its own charm and character, with modern features sitting alongside stunning original fireplaces and ornate cornice work.
