FRINGE 2024 – Business Opportunities available for local tourism & hospitality businesses

Every year ETAG work closely with our colleagues at Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society to highlight the business opportunities available to the tourism and hospitality sector across the city.

As Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the world’s largest arts festival, it offers a unique opportunity to engage with a significant and engaged following of audiences, artists and venues alike.

Whilst it’s too late for businesses to get involved in some opportunities for this year, like featuring in the iconic Fringe programme – the official printed guide to the Fringe, there are still a wide range of opportunities available in the build up to and during this year’s Fringe, including:

> Digital advertising opportunities available across their website (38m+ page views last year) and email database (120,000 subscribers, with 53% open rate)

> Space is available on the Mound Precinct and Royal Mile for pop-up activation and sampling, with anticipated footfall of over 1m across Fringe street event footprints during August  

> Various sponsorship opportunities to support some of their key initiatives, such as Fringe Feast (lunches for artists in Fringe Central, our artists hub) and their community programme

> Network Friends: an initiative to offer free and discounted tickets to customers and staff, client entertainment opportunities and access to other local discounts.
