With the Civic Government Scotland Act 1982 (Licensing of Short Term Lets) Order 2022 being passed by the Scottish Parliament, local authorities in Scotland must introduce a licensing scheme (from 1 October 2022) for properties operating as short-term lets.
As part of the licensing scheme, the City of Edinburgh Council must publish a licensing policy for short-term lets in the city, and they need your views on what the licensing policy should cover.
