Edinburgh features in world’s first #UNESCOTrail

New digital assets and industry toolkit available now

Scotland’s UNESCO Trail is the first national UNESCO Trail anywhere in the world that brings together the full range of UNESCO place-based designations from across the country.

Featuring Edinburgh’s World Heritage Sites including The Old & New Towns of Edinburgh and The Forth Bridge, as well as Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature, the digital trail has been created through a unique and global-first partnership between the Scottish Government, UK National Commission for UNESCO, representatives of Scotland’s 13 designation sites, VisitScotland, Historic Environment Scotland, NatureScot and the National Trust for Scotland.
