ETAG’s Digital Solutions for Tourism 2018 conference was recently shortlisted for an E Award for “Best Use of Event Technology” – and we’re delighted to say that we won!
The E Awards celebrate the best, the most innovative and successful of Scotland’s dynamic events and festivals, and recognises the professionalism, diversity and creativity of all our suppliers
This nomination particularly recognises our event partners Blendology, Criton and Oovirt, who provided event delegates with novel event tech which was fitting and really enhanced the event – improving the delegate experience, allowing us to go almost 100% paper free and ensuring that it was accessible via:
- The Scottish debut of the “OneTap” ebadge, which uses digital e-ink screens, not only removing the need for paper badges, but allowing delegates to swap contact details by simply tapping their badges;
- The creative adaptation of the Criton “Concierge App” to create a conference web app which provided delegates with all the conference info they required, such as the programme, speaker biogs, delegate & exhibitor info direct to their smart phone;
- Included in the app was the Oovirt online accessible guide to the conference venue, providing information to support any conference delegates with accessibility issues
